Carol Vorderman was
given six strokes of the cane on her backside for misbehaviour at
catholic school in Wales (either Ysgol Mair or Blessed Edward
Jones between 1966-1977).
Please Note: This
reference was referred to on a UK TV comedy programme called Have
I Got News For You, where the panel make jokes about real news
stories from that week. Carol was quoted as saying this in an
article in her home-town newspaper.
