Chris Farries, an actror twice her age,
indulged in a torrid affair with her during her marriage to
lipscombe. He paints her as a ruthless, shrewd, compulsive
spender who casts lovers aside when she has no further use for
them, and is fascinated by the English upper classes. Even more
startlingly, he reveals how, at the height of their affair, they
played spanking games where she liked to be punished by hand or
cane if she`d been a `naughty girl` who`d overspent.
Emily and Chris embarked on a
torrid and long-lasting affair, evidenced by the sheaves of
pictures and raunchy letters Farries spreads out over a table to
illustrate their relationship.
In one series of Polaroids, Emily
24 and barely a year into her marriage, is semi-naked,
lasciviously offering her breasts to the camera. In others she is
dressed as a schoolgirl, a `Christmas treat` for Farries, bending
over to be caned and spanked.
He explained: `If she`d over-spent
on a shopping spree she would say what a naughty girl she`d been.
That was the signal for a spanking and a caning. We had a little
saying that "spendies leads to bendies".`
